Welcome back to another Main Challenge at More Than Words!
This month we are saying HELLO to DOORS & WINDOWS!!
Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.
Word Inspiration - Hello
Creative Challenge - DOORS & WINDOWS
HELPFUL TIPS FOR THE CHALLENGE
Do you greet a friend with a HELLO? Maybe you’d like to welcome a new baby, say hi to a relative or introduce a new pet? Or maybe just a simple Hello title works for you. We need to see in your project how our word inspired you. If it isn’t obvious in your work, then please explain it in your post.
We often welcome friends at our doors and DOORS and WINDOWS can symbolise new opportunities or new directions in our lives. We want to see doors and/or windows on your project!
Please check out ALL our challenge rules in the RULES tab above
for further clarification.
Now let's see what our fabulous DT has come up with,
inspired by the HELLO and DOORS & WINDOWS Main Challenge!
Lanusia: Being next to big animals can be a phobia sometimes... Try not to be afraid. Just come closer and say HELLO.. In a quiet voice..
Priya: This month's main challenge is very interesting and I used a DOOR in my project. I used the colours teal and brown here to bring in a vintage touch. I hope we can all open our doors and greet each other HELLO without the fear of the pandemic and the world becomes normal again. It's too bad to stay behind closed doors.
Elle: This is the cover to my new journal which I plan to use for nature art and drawing, which is why it is so green lol. On the front cover is the
DOOR to the new journal, and I thought I would add the "HELLO - adventure awaits you" to greet myself every time I open the journal to use it.
Rosalie: My inspiration for the word HELLO is a beautiful photo of my sister and her husband leaving the church as Mr & Mrs for the first time. This little chapel had such a beautiful quaint look with cute WINDOWS and DOORS. Mount Tamborine in QLD – beautiful.

Hema "Everyday we say HELLO to new doors which
open and bring new beginnings and change. This month's challenge is about
DOORS and WINDOWS. While this recent pandemic has put us all indoors, it has
also taught us new lessons and brought changes in our personalities. These
changes were my inspiration for the challenge."
Daisy - When I first met my nephew, I exclaimed "HELLO beautiful boy, it's nice to finally meet you." I was so happy that the family
was growing. For the creative twist I used a WINDOW chipboard by Dusty Attic.
Anna: DOORS and
WINDOWS are such an interesting objects. Some people may see it as something
closed - I usually see them as something that might be opened! I'm curious -
what's behind, but sometimes just the mystery is enough.
Very often when I'm travelling I take pictures of interesing doors. Here I used stock photos that caught my eye with their color. Such an interesting topic to use in the art journal. The words don't need explanation "HELLO. Adventure awaits you. Be open to whatever comes next".

Katrin: "On the
last trip that I made before the disaster, I was able to say HELLO to the
splendid city of Burano, one of the islands of Venice, which I will never
forget. I love this photo showing all the DOORS and WINDOWS along the
canal."
Our design team has shared their HELLO inspiration
with you using DOORS & WINDOWS.
We hope that they will have inspired you to play along.
