Hello everyone and welcome back to our regularly scheduled Main Challenge!
This month, we have made some changes and we want you to use our challenge board to create an ART JOURNAL PAGE!
Our challenge has two parts, please use both prompts to inspire you:
Word Inspiration: WISHES
Creative Challenge: TREES
Helpful Tips For The Challenge
This is an art journalling challenge so for example you could use the word WISHES on your page or make a list of your wishes at this time of year and add that to your page! Some of us are celebrating Christmas at this time of the year, but not all of us so it doesn't have to be a winter or Christmas page. Use our creative challenge of TREES to add some trees to your page, any kind of trees, it's up to you!
Sharon says: To me, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing TREES lit up against a December, star filled sky. And what makes it even better is falling snow! I remember making many wishes while gazing into a similay sky while growing up. I wish everyone a very happy holiday season this year! (I used the ArtStacks Trees and Leaves Corestack to help depict that December sky!!!)
LISA OXLEYLisa says: This creative "Wishes" to enjoy the Great Outdoors, after 4 months of lockdown.
AGA MIRKOWSKAAga says: The most important TREE in december is of course our Christmas TREE. I also used some TREES cut out from a magazine glued in the background. I hope your dreams will come true in the New Year and I WISH you all you're WISHING for.
HEATHER MCMAHONHeather says: I made my ArtStacks TREES Christmassy by simply adding gold stars. I love working with non-traditional Christmas colours. Sending you my best WISHES for peace, hope and love this Christmas!
YULIA POPKOVAYulia says: December is preparation for Christmas and New Years. We always decorate the Christmas tree and the house for the Holiday. May all Christmas wishes come true!
ELLE - EOTCElle says: As soon as I saw the word prompt it made me think of the old Scottish saying "If wishes were horses then beggars would ride" and so I knew that's what I wanted to work with for the theme of my art journal page. I wanted to create a night scene with a horse and a dark forest of trees, and used these new Lynne Perrella stamps from Paperartsy. As I was creating the page I thought why not have a flying horse, much more exciting than just a regular horse, and then added the stamp of the four little girls as another interpretation of the saying is "we all would ride". If you look really closely you will see that the little girls have trees for legs too! After painting my page, I carefully wrote out my quote with a gold pen.
KAT PALECZNY Kat says: December is a time of anticipation for the Christmas tree in my family. It is also a time for making wishes, my wish to you, Live a full life.
This year we have changed to a Regional Prize structure, whereby there will be multiple Main Challenge Winners, one or more for each Region. The number of Winners/Prizes for each Region is dependent on the number of Sponsors for that Region. Some of our Sponsors remain as International Sponsors but many are now Region specific. It is now more important than ever that you add your NAME and COUNTRY to your Inlinkz entries!
Our Fabulous Sponsors this quarter include:
