June 2020 2nd Reveal of Main Challenge -HELLO and DOORS & WINDOWS

Today we're sharing the 2nd Reveal of our June Main Challenge
from the Design Team.

Say HELLO to more inspiration using DOORS & WINDOWS!

Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.

Word Inspiration - Hello
Creative Challenge - DOORS & WINDOWS

HELPFUL TIPS FOR THE CHALLENGE

Do you greet a friend with a HELLO? Maybe you’d like to welcome a new baby, say hi to a relative or introduce a new pet? Or maybe just a simple Hello title works for you. We need to see in your project how our word inspired you. If it isn’t obvious in your work, then please explain it in your post.

We often welcome friends at our doors and DOORS and WINDOWS can symbolise new opportunities or new directions in our lives. We want to see doors and/or windows on your project!

Please check out ALL our challenge rules in the RULES tab above
for further clarification.

Now let's see what the rest of our fabulous DT has come up with,
inspired by the HELLO and DOORS & WINDOWS Main Challenge!

Sab: Hi to everyone! I love this challenge so much because I love DOORS & WINDOWS!!! There are a lot of brands that use them in their releases!!! You have a lot of choice!!!! So I say to you "HELLO!" and we are waiting to see your entries!

Anastasia: Huge creative greetings and HELLO!
One of my favorite quotes is: "If you are not traveling, then you will read only one page from the book of life." I hope that soon we will be able to travel, open WINDOWS in the car (as on my layout about autotravel), and new DOORS. And yes, as you can see... DOORS and WINDOWS can not only be in the house, but also in the caravan!

Jolande: Even though I have lived in the Netherlands for most of my life, I do not know our capital well. Fortunately, there is Ilse Huizinga, who often introduces me to Amsterdam through her beautiful photos. She opened the DOOR to Amsterdam for me. I made "HELLO discover Amsterdam" for her as a thank you. I hope to bring the layout to her soon. Who knows, she might have time to show me her beloved Amsterdam so that I can see it with my own eyes. Thank you Ilse for the beautiful photo I got to use.

Yulia: For our June Challenge, I made a canvas about dreams, about the sea. For me, the sea is a source of inspiration, relaxation. Don't you just want to open the DOOR of the house and say "HELLO, sea! I'm back! :) To create the background, I used sprays from Lindy's and Gold waxes from Finnabair.

Dana: Walking into our current house for the first time nearly 2 years ago, was like saying HELLO to an old friend. We immediately felt a connection to the space. Our house was built in 1928 and we fell in love with the old wood DOORS and WINDOWS, which are just a few of its many charms. We are enjoying uncovering its secrets and are slowly making it our home.

Cecilia: HELLO Spring, flowers, morning breeze! That's all I need each day. Of course a delicious cup of coffee helps with the early start to a new day! This is an altered old WINDOW frame with handmade shutters.

HEIKES AUGENBLICK
Heikes: I count myself so lucky to live in a country where there is equality between man and woman. Not all girls and women in this world have this happiness. So I would like to share my thoughts about these women in this layout. They experience, every day, a new oppression and injustice. The "DOORS and WINDOWS" should stand as a symbol for more openness about this situation. I wrote the word "HELLO" on the doorhanger.

HEATHER McMAHON
Heather: My daughter and I got arty together when she shared lockdown with us and we designed some collage papers. Coincidentally, one of the ranges included doors and windows and I had a blast including them here.
I believe that, even though we still have many restrictions in place due to covid-19, people seem to have come to the realisation that we all need to help each other out. There seems to be so much love and support in the world right now.
I used the closed DOORS and WINDOWS to represent the way we've been confined but I believe we'll come out of this saying HELLO to a better world.

Sarah: Moroccan DOORS have always inspired me with their architecture, but also by their beauty. I chose to scrap a DOOR photographed at Rabats two years ago. We often say "HELLO" outside our doors, that's why I chose to put the word alone without anything else.

Our design team has shared their HELLO inspiration
with you using DOORS & WINDOWS.

We hope that they will have inspired you to play along.
